Staying active:A key to improving chronic illness:

Being physically active,doing any kind of activity that gets your body moving,can improve your health and reduce the risk of developing serious emergency conditions leading to multiple hospital visits.

1. Physical activity can have immediate and long-term effects.
-It helps you feel stronger and more energetic.
-It can help you lose fat.
-It promotes muscle building,keeps joints moving well, and reaches a healthy weight.
-Mental wellbeing can also be achieved by staying active,it can help you sleep better,
-Feel good and focus well.
2.Immediate effects of physical activity:
-When the body moves,muscles start to work,they need more oxygen from the 🫁 lungs, and blood carries a great amount of oxygen.
Heart ❤️ pumps more oxygenated blood around the whole body.
It increases the level of dopamine,serotonin, and nonadrenaline neurotransmitters. These three together result in hyperstimulation of the mind,feeling happy accomplished and more focused.
-It improves your immune system so that the body can have more energy to fight against germs.

How to stay active:
Stay physically active for at least 10 minutes three times a day.
Choose any healthy movement according to your age and body conditions.

Healthy movements include walking,
Sports,yoga,running, or other activities you enjoy.
You can add a walk or any healthy movement during lunch break or after dinner.
Any activity is better than none during illness.
Chronic illnesses make it hard to stay active. See your doctor before you start any new exercise program.
